授業概要
Communicating research contents to different audiences from general public to classmates, coworkers, professors and companies is a basic skill for any university student. The art of delivering a rich and meaningful presentation leads to proper communication of research topics to the community and valuable feedback to the presenter. In this course, students have a unique opportunity to improve presentation skills by rehearsing in the classroom while learning pointers about how to do it properly. Also, the lecture will be delivered in a friendly and cooperative environment where students can exchange ideas and thoughts, taking part in the evaluation process of their classmates. The environment will simulate the conditions of an international conference, giving the opportunity to students to use and enrich their English vocabulary when introducing their research subjects. The lecture will be delivered in English, but Japanese questions are accepted.
