Course Overview

This course gives an overview of the domain of empowerment informatics. To acquire and improve their presentation ability, students will present their research.

Remarks

Only students of the PhD program in Empowerment Informatics are allowed to register. Only transfer students are allowed to register.

- cultivation of "research ability" based on "outstanding creativity abilities"
- "outstanding creative abilities" in "presentation ability"

Course Objectives

Broadly understand the domain of empowerment informatics.
Acquire research presentation skills in the domain of empowerment informatics.

Course Schedule

Students attend class, and give one research presentation related to empowerment informatics.
- Students are required to prepare slides of their research, give one research presentation, and lead a discussion on their topic.
- Students are required to attend the other student's presentation related to empowerment informatics, discuss them and provide feedback.
Timing: Presentation time: 12 minutes, and discussion time: 5 minutes.

Graduating Methods and Criteria

Grades will be based on the presentation and participation in discussion.
A+: 90-100, A: 80-89, B: 70-79, C: 60-69, D: 0-59
