Course Overview

This class describes the principles of "empowerment informatics" which is a new branch of informatics that supplements and extends human functions and enables technology to work in harmony with people. For developing interdisciplinary ability, students are required to do a “lab rotation." Lab rotations entail students visiting other two labs, attending their meetings, and giving a presentation on learnings from the labs.

Only students of the PhD program in Empowerment Informatics are allowed to register. Coordinator: Masakazu Hirokawa
