Course Overview
This course describes basic research themes of empowerment informatics, and guides students on how research is to be carried out for each research theme.
Course Schedule
Students are required to do the following, in whole or in part, based on the instructions from each supervisor and multidisciplinary research advisory team. Students will enhance their knowledge and abilities necessary to become a global human resource with outstandingly creative research capabilities.
1. Acquire knowledge and research methods of each research field through their professors’ supervision, attending laboratory seminars and meetings.
2. Learn about their own research themes by reading textbooks, reference books and scholarly articles.
3. Carry out their own research by surveying, creating artwork, and experiments.
4. Report the progress and achievements of their research to professors as needed, and receive supervision.
5. Wrap-up the results of their learning and research, and present their work at academic conferences and/or seminars on and off campus.
6. Participate in the various research projects and conferences.
