Course Overview

This course will provide 1) the method of psychophysical measurements, 2) a framework of reaction time measurements, 3) the method of experimental design including statistical data analysis and 4) the principles of brain functional measurements. This course will also provide recent research of experimental psychology (e.g. olfactory perception, and cognition).

Remarks

Those who do not belong to the PhD program in Empowerment Informatics need the permission of the instructor to register.

Lecture in Japanese, with English slides.
A minimum of three students are required.

Course Objectives

Study methods of experimental psychology and statistical data analysis, and learn how to measure human.
Also study the important point to design psychological experiment.
