Course Overview
This course provides fundamental knowledge on a specific theme in risk engineering through seminars, and leads to research on a specific topic.
Relation to Degree Program Competences
This lecture is related mainly to "1. The basic theory for analyzing and assessing risk," partly to "3. The real world problems that are the target of risk engineering," "5. The processes for solving risk-related problems from setting objectives to solving them and the specific measures," and "6. The ability to carry out tasks and take a leadership role in a research project."
Course Prerequisites
Students are required to clear regular level of attendance in seminar, progress in research, and presentation at academic conferences.

The evaluation will be based on attendance and attitude in seminar, progress in research, and presentation at academic conferences
