Course Overview

都市・地域解析の基礎知識を習得し、都市や地域の構成要素の配置や密度をモデル化する技法を身に付ける。都市の数理モデルと研究へのエートスを学んだ上で、産業や施設の立地、人口動態、道路ネットワークにおける渋滞などの身近な応用例を見つけて、取り上げた問題のメカニズムを解明したり、解決策を導いたりすることを行う。

Students acquire basic knowledge of urban and regional analysis and acquire techniques for modeling the arrangement and density of urban and regional components.

Class Schedule

To acquire basic knowledge of urban and regional analysis, acquire techniques for modeling the placement and density of components of cities and regions. Find familiar applications, elucidate the mechanisms of the problems discussed, and lead solutions by group work.
