Course Overview

各種自然災害を網羅する形で、個別の災害リスク評価からレジリエンス向上のための災害対応技術までを俯瞰した講義を行う。具体的には、概論、地震・津波災害(リスク評価、対策技術、観測技術、シミュレーション技術)、火山災害・地盤災害(リスク評価、対策技術)、風水害・雪氷災害(リスク評価、対策技術、情報共有・利活用技術)について理解を深めた上で、レジリエンス向上のための総合戦略について、平時や災害時の実践事例を交え学修する。

To learn about the latest observation technology of earthquakes and tsunamis and technology for utilizing data.

To learn about hazard and risk assessment techniques for earthquakes and tsunamis by numerical simulation.

Based on the concept and evaluation of risk resilience and countermeasure technology learned so far, students will learn comprehensive strategies for improving resilience with practical cases during peacetime and disasters.
  

Course Prerequisites

Grading Philosophy

1.Submission tasks will be set for each lecture and assessed individually.
2.Participation in lectures (5 points), submission assignments (1 to 5 points, 5 grades)
3.Summarize individual evaluations and evaluate their grades based on overall scores.

Students learn the concepts through lectures, and conduct discussions to find out and solve problems, using disaster prevention measures during normal times and practical cases on the spot for disaster response. If possible, it is recommended that one visit the site where the disaster occurred during the lecture period.
